Rangers place RHP Jon Gray (groin) on injured list

The Texas Rangers placed right-hander Jon Gray on the 15-day injured list Thursday due to a right groin strain.

Gray, 32, left Tuesday's start at Philadelphia with the injury. He is 2-2 with a 2.21 ERA in 11 games (10 starts).

Gray is 71-66 with a 4.34 ERA in 216 career games (214 starts) with the Colorado Rockies (2015-21) and Rangers.
