Myanmar to compete in vovinam and swimming at 13th ASEAN Schools Games

YANGON, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar will compete in vovinam and swimming at the 13th ASEAN Schools Games (ASG), state-run media Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) reported on Sunday, citing deputy director of the Department of Basic Education, U Ko Ko Htay.

"The aim is to raise the sports standard of basic education students to be equal to ASEAN countries," he said.
