Off the Beaten Path: Saratoga Hot Dog Company

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - For 20 years, Saratoga Hot Dog Company has relished the opportunity to serve up “awesome dogs.” Owner Kathy Kahl says that cooking and being outside is her passion.

Their signature item, an Awesome Dog, comes with Kathy’s homemade meat sauce. If you add sauerkraut to it, you’ll get the Dirty Dog. They also have bratwurst, kielbasa, burgers, homemade pasta salads, potato salads, and fresh squeezed lemonade.

For Belmont Week, they're serving up the following specials:

• Breakfast Bar - Beginning on Friday, June 7
• Belmont Beans
• Belmont Burger - Topped with cheddar cheese, meat sauce and horseradish mustard

Saratoga Hot Dog Company is located in the parking lot of Quality Hardware and EBI. They are open seven days a week during the season, weather-permitting.
