MTA reveals public webinars on congestion pricing system for New Yorkers
NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The MTA rolled out a program to educate the public about congestion pricing.
The Manhattan toll plan is facing several legal challenges. However, the system of charging vehicles for driving south of 60th Street is still slated to go into effect at the end of the month.
On Monday, the MTA announced six webinars in June. Transit officials will explain the system's details, including pricing breakdowns, discounts and exemptions.
Participants must register online before the start of the session they wish to join. You can sign up for the webinar you'd like to attend by clicking on the date here:
- June 5, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- June 6, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
- June 10, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- June 14, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- June 18, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
- June 18, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
