General election 2024 LIVE — Nigel Farage starts campaign as Rishi Sunak & Keir Starmer to go head-to-head in ITV debate
NIGEL Farage looks set to kick off his general election campaign in Clacton today after becoming the new Reform UK leader.
It will be the eighth time Nigel Farage, 60, has stood at an election although he has never been successful in becoming an MP.
The leading Brexiteer said the Tories had already lost the election and were a “party of the past”.
It comes as Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer will go head-to-head in their first live TV debate.
The hour-long debate between the PM and the Labour leader will air on ITV at 9pm tonight.
