And particularly if your parent loves beer or golf, you’ll need to check this out.

Aldi took to social media to show off the new Specialbuys hitting shelves this week, just in time for Father’s Day, leaving many open-mouthed.

Alongside the clip, the chain penned: “The middle aisle is packed full of Father’s Day gifts this week!

“Whether the old man loves golf, beer, or both, we’ve got the perfect present.

“Available in store now.”

There’s a variety of brilliant buys available, including a beer dispenser for just £24.99.

So if you want to make your dads day this month, this beer pump will do just the trick, as it transforms a standard pint into a fresh draught in seconds.

Not only this, but if your dad likes smelling fresh, there’s three different men’s eau de parfum scents available, all of which are only £6.99 each.

In addition to this, if your old man is a keen golfer, there’s golf ball sets priced at just £4.99.

Not only will these sets get them ready to tee off, but thanks to the ‘World’s Best Dad’ and ‘World’s Greatest Grandad’ messages, the cute compliments are sure to bring a smile to their faces too.

If you thought that was good, there’s also an electric shaver grooming set.

So if your dad is looking to save cash on trips to the barbers, this £19.99 buy, which is complete with a digital LED display, could be just the answer.

And if you fancy getting your dad a bit of a cheeky, joke gift, there’s also crazy socks, with funky chicken or french fries designs, for just £2.49.

What’s more, don’t worry if you always forget to pick up a card, as there’s Father’s Day cards for only 79p.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible

SOCIAL MEDIA USERS BEAM

The Instagram clip, which was posted under the username @aldispecialbuysuk, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed almost 400 likes in only 17 hours.

Social media users were impressed with the cheap buys and many took to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Ooooh! Chicken socks…….for me!”

Another tagged a loved one and added: “Wait for the socks.”

To this, Aldi replied and penned: “They are a need!”

Whilst a third asked: “When are these in store? Thanks.”

In response, Aldi confirmed: “These will be in our middle aisle.”
