Who is Gary Cahill?
Gary Cahill began his senior career with Aston Villa in 2008, having spent four years in their academy.
Cahill’s performances during his time at Bolton saw him interest Chelsea, joining the Blues in 2012.
He then won the Premier League twice, FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League during his six years at Stamford Bridge.
Cahill became Chelsea’s captain at the beginning of the 2017-18 season, taking over from the departing John Terry.

The defender played for England 61 times, scoring five goals in the process.
He made his debut on September 3, 2010 against Bulgaria, over a year after he received his first call-up.
Cahill then played at two World Cups and made four appearances at Euro 2016.
Cahill retired from football in 2022, aged 36.

Soccer Aid 2024 will be broadcast live from Stamford Bridge on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
