Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya is poised to win the Porbandar Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat, leading by over 3.8 lakh votes, according to officials. As the vote count nears completion, Mandaviya has secured 6.25 lakh votes, significantly ahead of his nearest rival, Congress candidate Lalit Vasoya, who has received 2.45 lakh votes. This election marks Mandaviya's first contest for a Lok Sabha seat; previously, he was a Rajya Sabha member and had won as an MLA from Palitana in 2002.
