Aris Thessaloniki and its president Theodoros Karypidis fined over threatening safety of Stephanie Frappart
June 4 – Greece’s Aris Thessaloniki have been fined a total of €60,000 for their threatening behaviour towards French referee Stephanie Frappart at the end of the Greek Cup final against Panathinaikos late last month.
Players, coaches and even Aris president Theodoros Karypidis surrounded the referee at full-time, angry at her refereeing of the game.
Frappart showed a total of 11 yellow cards, including three red cards. Two Aris players were sent off.
