CDTA offering trolley service for Belmont Stakes Festival

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will offer a trolley service during the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival in Saratoga Springs. The trolley will run from Thursday through Sunday with the full schedule available online.

The trolley service is free for customers and will operate from noon until 10 p.m. giving riders access to hotels and attractions along Broadway, the Saratoga Race Course, and the Saratoga Casino Hotel.

The CDTA will also offer a shuttle service for the "Belmont on Broadway" concert, running from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. from two park and ride locations. One between the Route 50 lot at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and the bus stop on Broadway at Congress Park. The other will run from the Wilton Mall bus stop and the High Rock and Lake Avenues corner. They will run every 20 minutes, with traffic pending.
