Clipped: See the cast of FX's new Clippers series compared to their real-life counterparts
FX’s show Clipped is a behind-the-scenes limited series about the L.A. Clippers and the removal of former team owner Donald Sterling.
Based on the 30 for 30 podcast “The Sterling Affairs” from ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, this series gives fans a look into the basketball operations of the Clippers under Sterling (who is portrayed by Ed O’Neil).
This series also gives insight into the challenges of trying to win on the court despite the fallout after racist remarks from Sterling. Doc Rivers (portrayed by Laurence Fishburne) was the head coach leading a roster including Chris Paul (J. Alphonse Nicholson), Blake Griffin (Austin Scott) and DeAndre Jordan (Sheldon Bailey).
