Mavericks extend contract of GM Nico Harrison

The NBA Finals-bound Dallas Mavericks rewarded general manager Nico Harrison with a multi-year contract extension on Tuesday.
Contract terms were not announced.
Harrison was the architect of a team that missed the playoffs in 2022-23 but, beginning Thursday, will meet the Boston Celtics with a chance to win its first NBA title since 2011.
