Ikea is launching The Co-Worker Game in online platform Roblox on June 24, 2024.

With the brand-new virtual experience, the Swedish furniture chain wants to show off what it’s like to work at its stores.

Ikea prides itself on its unique approach to career development, where every worker has more freedom to grow within the company.

The Co-Worker Game by Ikea will be a virtual store within Roblox, allowing players to immerse themselves into the working environment.

For enhanced immersion, Ikea is offering ten paid jobs at the new virtual store and applications for them are now open.

Candidates will have until June 16 to apply for the dream jobs via the The Co-Worker Game website.

The lucky ten who get hired will be paid £13.15 per hour for their shifts at the virtual store.

This is Ikea’s hourly rate of pay for their real-life employees in London.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to virtual interviews between June 14 and 18.

Paid job candidates must be 18 or older and live in the UK or Ireland to apply.

Alongside the paid roles at Ikea’s virtual store, The Co-Worker Game will be open to all Roblox players who want to experience it for free.
