FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Today will be the warmest day of the week, and one of the warmest of the year so far. Temperatures are expected to reach the upper 80s. This is running about 10 degrees above normal for the start of June. Skies will remain partly cloudy and it will still be a little muggy as well.
The overnight lows will also run well above average. Temperatures are only falling to the upper 60s. The night will remain muggy as well. By the early morning hours the chances for a few isolated showers will begin to pick up.
Wednesday brings a cold font to central Ohio with showers and thunderstorms throughout the entire day. Starting in the morning, Central Ohio can expect a marginal risk for severe weather. Strong winds are going to be the primary threat, but it is still on the low end of the risk odds.
On the back end a big cooldown with spotty rain chances in time for the Memorial Tournament. Temperatures at the end of the work week will be below average. At one point highs won't make it past the mid 70s. The cooler conditions are expected to remain through at least the middle of the month.
