Jennifer Lopez Has Allegedly Already Met With These Powerful People Amid Ben Affleck Split Rumors
Sadly, many signs point to another split between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, and apparently, Lopez is lawyering up. If Affleck and Lopez don’t work things out, this would be Lopez’s fourth divorce. Because of this, she’s allegedly bringing the big guns to do damage control.
Insiders told Closer Online, “J-Lo knows how to handle a divorce, and she’s already been meeting with lawyers. Even though they’ve been married such a short time, there’s still a ton of assets to divvy up.”
They added, “She’s also hired a special crisis PR team, and they’re brainstorming how she and Ben can cut the cord with as little collateral damage as possible.”
“J-Lo is telling everyone that they’re going to get through this, but Ben has totally checked out. It’s pretty clear that a divorce is imminent, and J-Lo is taking steps to protect herself,” the insider added to the outlet. “You can count on her to make this as hard as she possibly can. She’d love to save things, but if she can’t, she’s vowed to at least come out on top.”
So, insiders claim if a divorce really is imminent, Lopez will reportedly be cutthroat about it, hence speaking with lawyers, a crisis team, and more for damage control.
Before her marriage to Affleck, Lopez was married three times: Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, and Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014.
For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck fell in love on the set of the film Gigli, and by 2002, they fell in love. They appeared in a couple more projects together, and got engaged by the end of 2002, per People. In 2003, they postponed their wedding and then broke up days before, due to the paparazzi and pressure they faced, and were broken up by 2004.
In 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony, but as of June 2024, it seems their marriage is strained, and breakup rumors have been looming over them.
