Emma D’Arcy Slips Into Sleek Dress Shoes for ‘House of the Dragon’ Season Two Premiere
Emma D’Arcy was seen attending HBO’s “House Of The Dragon” Season Two premiere at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Monday wearing a pair of black leather oxfords.
Choosing a minimalistic pair to complete their minimalistic outfit, the shoes were expertly crafted with a glossy patent leather material. No additional laces or adornments were present on the shoe, which was finished with a small block heel measuring less than an inch. D’Arcy paired their oxfords with a shimmery oversized blazer jacket that reached slightly above the knee. The blazer sat overtop a white dress shirt and a black tie, with the matching pair of black trousers rounding out the style.
D’Arcy is known for preferring elevated dress shoes when it comes to their high-profile events and appearances. For the opening night of “The Lehman Trilogy” at Gillian Lynne Theatre in London in February 2023, the star walked the red carpet in a pair of thick black loafers that included rounded square toes with structured soles, as well as stitched toes to create a vintage feel.
The loafers completed their vintage-style outfit which consisted of a navy collared zip-up jacket and wide-leg blue jeans with stone-washed fronts.
In September 2022, D’Arcy made an appearance at Acne Studio’s Spring 2023 show in Paris during Paris Fashion Week wearing knee-high black leather cavalry boots with chunky soles and square toes. The boots paired nicely alongside their metallic silver collared shirt and darker silver trousers, which was emphasized by a shiny black brooch, tiny silver hoop earrings, and a coordinating black textured clutch.
“House of the Dragon” is a prequel to the popular HBO series “Game of Thrones,” and is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood.” The series is set nearly 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones.” An HBO Max exclusive, season 2 is set to premiere on June 16, with weekly episodes going through August.
