Jessica Alba laced up bright white sneakers for a visit to SiriusXM Studios in New York City on Tuesday. The actress, who is currently promoting the film “Trigger Warning,” donned a platform style for the radio appearance.
Alba wore a white blazer over a tan corseted top, which she tucked into high-waisted jeans secured with a brown leather belt. She opted to tie the chic ensemble together with Axel Arigato’s Orbit Vintage sneaker. The casual luxury shoes are crafted using premium calf leather inside and out and feature chunky, custom-molded platform soles made partly of recycled rubber.
While available in various other colorways, the Honest Company founder went with the monochromatic white edition. The sneakers, which retail for $330 via the footwear brand’s website, are complete with a perforated toe box, flat cotton laces and logo stamps in metallic gold. Alba also accessorized with gold earrings, black sunglasses and a white handbag.
Axel Arigato is a Swedish brand founded by Albin Johansson and Max Svärdh in 2014. After ten years in the business and a debut in London’s SoHo in 2016, the label is opening its doors via a new store in New York City this summer.
“Opening a store in New York has always been a dream for the brand – so to finally be able to open in the year of our 10th Anniversary feels really special,” Albin Johansson told FN. “Axel Arigato has always been about bringing our physical community together, so we’re thrilled to finally be able to do this with our first bricks and mortar space in the USA. We can’t wait to bring our diverse roster of events to our local customer base in New York City!”
