FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday Evening,
Showers and storms are working through our area ahead of a cold front tonight. We will continue to see activity mainly before midnight, with the threat of heavy downpours, lightning, and some gusty winds. Overnight, skies will start to thin out with lows still remaining above normal in the middle 60s.
Thursday expect a nicer day with sunshine returning, and temps still running pretty close to normal in the lower 80s. We will see slightly cooler temps for Thursday night into the upper 50s. Expect a mix of clouds to partly sunny skies on Friday with highs only in the lower 70s. Later in the day we will have a shot of a few isolated pop-ups late, mainly in the north-northeast part of our area, and a breezy day.
Saturday, sunshine will return once again, and after a cool start in the low to mid 50s, we will have quite a rebound into the upper 70s during the afternoon. Another weak front will approach for Sunday and this will give us a few pop-ups possible with highs dipping into the middle 70s.
Temps will remain in the mid 70s for early next work week, with partly sunny skies on Monday. We will see more sunshine on Tuesday with highs in the upper 70s. With even more sunshine for Wednesday, we should be able to crack into the lower 80s, or about normal for this time of the year.
