Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Shirsat attributed their losses in the Lok Sabha polls to overconfidence and changes based on seat-sharing surveys. The ruling Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra, including the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP, won 17 out of 48 seats.
