Crash leaves Maryland trooper injured, vehicle overturned in Baltimore County
A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning left a Maryland state trooper injured, according to Maryland State Police.
State police troopers responded to the area of Southwestern Boulevard and Interstate 695 in Baltimore County around 7:30 a.m. for a report of a crash involving a state trooper, the department said.
Authorities said the preliminary investigation found a Hyundai hit the patrol vehicle as the trooper tried to make a left turn onto a ramp, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The trooper was transported to Shock Trauma for his injuries, authorities said. No other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation.
