MASN falls short of tornado warning track | READER COMMENTARY
On Wednesday night while watching the Baltimore Orioles’ game in my Florida room here in Catonsville, there was a very loud noise that I first thought was a plane heading to Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. But it continued for several minutes. Later, my wife told me that her friend Gail called her and told her to turn on the TV, where they were devoting a lot of time to giving live updates (“Maryland weather: Tornadoes sweep through region; 5 injured in Montgomery County,” June 6).
Apparently, a tornado passed very close to my home. Someone needs to tell MASN to alert us when something as dangerous as a tornado is in the area and to move to the basement.
I can only imagine what would have happened if it hit my home. I guess they need someone to pay them and sponsor something like this for them to let us know.
