Watch awkward moment baffled French Open teen is ‘teleported’ into Eurosport studio for live TV interview
MIRRA ANDREEVA was left awestruck after being “teleported” into the Eurosport studio for an interview.
The tennis wonderkid, 17, was in demand after beating world No2 Aryna Sabalenka to book a place in the Roland Garros semi-finals.
As part of her media duties, Andreeva stopped by for a chat with Eurosport’s Barbara Schett.
With their studio off site, technology was used to make it appear as if the Russian was there with Schett.
As a technician carefully put Andreeva into position, the teen looked visibly stunned as Schett came into view.
When the shocked starlet gasped, Schett exclaimed: “I’m in London!”
Over in Paris, Andreeva replied: “Wow, what a technology.”
She then repeated “wow” twice, while staring around in awe.
The semi-finalist then dreamily said: “thank you.”
Fans adored her awestruck response, with one saying: “I love her.”

While a second chimed in: “This is adorable.”
Another added: “She’s in shock!”
World No38 Andreeva beat Emina Bektas, Victoria Azarenka, Peyton Stearns, Varvara Gracheva and Sabalenka to book a spot in the last four.
Her run then ended at the hands of Italian Jasmine Paolini, who earned a spot in her maiden grand slam final in the process.
After her win, the 5ft 4in star said: “I’m more happy (than relieved) for sure! Thank you very much, merci beaucoup. It was a tough match. She’s playing unbelievable for 17-years-old, she’s so complete.
“I lost against her one month ago (in Madrid), so I thought ‘you have to do better’. Ball after ball I was more relaxed, even though on this stage it’s hard to be relaxed, and I’m really happy I managed to win in the end.
“I had in my mind, it was painful in Madrid. I wanted to step on court and do better, just to hit the ball (well) and enjoy, and it worked so I’m happy. I learned (to dream big) later than other players, maybe, but it’s the most important thing in sport and in life.
“I’m happy I could dream this moment. I don’t know what to say, I’m so emotional! Grazie mille, ragazzi, and merci beaucoup!”
Paolini, 28, will face Iga Swiatek in Saturday’s final – after the Pole beat Coco Gauff in the other semi-final.
