FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Thursday evening!

After an aggressive end to Wednesday, skies have turned dramatically calmer through the course of Thursday. Thankfully, we're looking at that setup sticking around a little longer, especially as we draw closer to the weekend.

So far, 4 tornadoes have been confirmed across Ohio from June 5th. This brings the yearly total for the state up to 62 tornadoes, tying the record with 1992 and well exceeding the yearly average.

Sunshine continues to push in through the remainder of Thursday and into Friday. We're still expecting a handful of isolated showers to develop in the afternoon and evening hours, but there will still be plenty of dry time. Temperatures will be coolest tomorrow in the lower 70s.

A warm up will begin over the weekend with numbers climbing into the mid to upper 70s for Saturday & Sunday. Skies will remain fairly dry through the day on Saturday. But, we are looking at an overnight chance of showers moving in. That will linger going into Sunday, but we're still seeing dry weather to end off the weekend.

The majority of next week will stay dry with a mixture of sunshine and clouds. There is an isolated chance to see a few showers during the middle of the week, but again, still seeing some dry weather at the same time. Temperatures will eventually climb to the mid to lower 80s for the second half of next week.
