- Right-hander Dom Hamel is slated to start Game 1 and right-hander Mike Vasil will get the ball in Game 2.
- Christian Scott allowed a home run to Eduoard Julien on the first pitch of the game on Tuesday, but then settled in to allow only one more hit and strike out seven over five innings. He threw only 59 pitches in the outing.
- Syracuse outfielder Trayce Thompson hit his 14th home run on Wednesday, which leads the Mets’ minor leagues.
Binghamton Rumble Ponies (26-25) vs. Bowie BaySox (27-25) — 6:35 p.m.
- Ryan Clifford is heating up for Binghamton; the 1B/COF prospect has homered twice in his last three games.
- Right-hander Tyler Stuart gets the start tonight for Binghamton. His 6.5 BB% is one of the best in the Eastern League.

Aberdeen IronBirds (27-26) vs. Brooklyn Cyclones (28-25) — 7:00 p.m.
- Left-hander Felipe De La Cruz gets the start for Brooklyn, coming off a career-high 13-strikeout performance.
- Edwin Díaz is scheduled to pitch one inning.
- This game is on SNY.
Daytona Tortugas (23-30) vs. St. Lucie Mets (19-34) — 6:10 p.m.
- Former first round pick Colin Houck is hitting .346/.400/.564 with nine extra-base hits and 12 RBIs over his last 14 games.
- Right-hander Jack Wenninger is starting for St. Lucie. The 22-year-old has three double-digit strikeout games already this season, including 12 in his last start.
