Mariners Game #64 Preview, 6/6/24: SEA at OAK
rubber match on deck!
Last night’s game didn’t go so swell, JULIOOOOO dinger in the ninth aside. The M’s will look to flush away that loss and leave the Coliseum with a series win, and with Bryan Woo on the mound, I like their odds.

After an unfortunate Seattle debut in which he hit into a double play to end the game, Víctor Robles will get his first start in a Mariners uniform today, batting eighth and playing left field. We’ll also see the return of Ryan Bliss to the lineup, which is joyous news for the Bliss faithful.
Former Mariner farmhand JP Sears will get the start for Oakland, and while he has given the M’s fits in the past, the lefty’s contact management struggles have continued this year despite an improved FIP. And hey, it can’t be much worse than the six perfect innings Joey Estes tossed yesterday.
Game Info:
Today’s first pitch is at 12:37pm PDT. Like the other two games of this series, Dave Sims and Mike Blowers will call the game on ROOT Sports NW, while Aaron Goldsmith and Rick Rizzs have the call on 710 AM Seattle Sports.
