One hospitalized following Fort Edward crash
FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One person is in critical condition after a crash in Fort Edward on Thursday, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office. The crash took place at the intersection of State Route 4 and Schuyler Street.
The investigation conducted by the Sheriff's Office determined that a man operating an electric bike was heading northbound when he was hit by an SUV making a left turn from Route 4 (Broadway) onto Schuyler Street. The rider was taken to Glens Falls Hospital in critical condition and was later transferred to Albany Medical Center, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were both reportedly uninjured. Route 4 was closed for a time while the scene was assessed.
