Man found guilty of murder in 2022 Princetown double homicide

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The man who was indicted in the killing of his mom and her partner in Princetown has been found guilty on all counts. Nicholas Fiebka was found guilty in Schenectady County Court after a trial by jury on Friday.

On November 22, 2022, police were called to a Reynolds Road home for a welfare check. Once there, they found Alesia Wadsworth and William Horwedel killed by gunfire. Fiebka was arrested and charged the next day. He was later indicted by a grand jury in connection with the deaths.

The indictment included nine charges, all of which he was found guilty on. The charges were:

• First-degree murder (two charges)
• Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (two counts)
• Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (two counts)
• Aggravated criminal contempt
• Tampering with physical evidence
• Criminal possession of a rapid-fire modification device

The jury started deliberations on Thursday and the verdict was revealed around 2 p.m. on Friday. Fiebka is scheduled to be sentenced on August 2.
