Remains of woman missing since 1980 found in Patterson

PATTERSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police announced back in April that human remains were located at the site of a home being built in Patterson in Putnam County. Investigators have confirmed that the remains are that of Karen Ramsey, maiden name Angelillo, 25, of Southeast, who has been missing since 1980.

Ramsey's remains were uncovered when excavation work was being done at the build site. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at (845)677-7300 and refer to case number 11883102.
