Seasonable midweek for Central Ohio, still warming through the week

Skies continue to clear and warm as we go throughout the rest of this week. For today, that's gotten us a typical June day with temperatures in the mid to lower 80s. For the rest of this week, temperatures will go up and down a little before a major warm up moves in.

Through the rest of the night, skies are still expected to stay clear. Temperatures will be a little warmer with the thermometer landing in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Throughout Thursday, there's more sunshine in store with temperatures on their way to the upper 80s. A few of us have the potential of seeing the 90s tomorrow afternoon.

There's a minor setback in our warming trend as a weak cold front moves in Thursday night into Friday morning. We'll see a few isolated showers move along with that front, but most of those will move out by Friday afternoon. Temperatures will be a little cooler, but numbers will still hold in the lower 80s into the weekend.

The start of the weekend looks great. Temperatures will be in the low 80s with minimal humidity and plenty of sunshine. However, Sunday will be the beginning of the major warmup. Temperatures will push into the lower 90s and humidity will start to build.

For the first couple days of next week, temperatures will rest in the mid to lower 90s and the heat index will push close to triple digits. We start to see a very minimal cool trend take hold for the middle of next week.
