Major left-wing parties in France are expected to announce a deal Thursday evening after holding multiple talks to agree on a joint platform for the upcoming general elections, FRANCE 24’s Clovis Casali said. The negotiations on a plan to share constituencies include parties such as France Unbowed, the Socialist party, the Communist party and the Greens, Casali said.
