Norman Police discourage dangerous driving behaviors

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - The Norman Police Department is advising against dangerous driving after one driver got caught going more than 30 mph over the speed limit.

According to Norman PD, a driver was going 76 mph in a 40 mph zone on Tecumseh Road on Tuesday.

"Dangerous driving behaviors — speeding, inattention, and running traffic signals, remain some of top concerns of Norman residents." said NPD.

NPD is encouraging drivers to pay close attention to the speed limit and to practice safe driving to avoid accidents or citations.
