Shooting in Iberia Parish leads to attempted murder arrest

IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) – A shooting on East Admiral Doyle Drive leaves a man arrested for attempted murder.
According to the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to multiple gun shots at a residence in the 7700 block of East Admiral Doyle Drive around Noon on Wednesday. An investigation led deputies to discover the suspect fired gun shots that hit the victim in the wrist. The victim was brought to an area hospital due to his injuries.
Nicholas Leblanc, 26 was arrested on an attempted 2nd degree murder charge and possession of a concealed firearm by a convicted felon.
No bond has been set for Leblanc.
