Adam Lefkoe has a brilliant strategy for betting on Caitlin Clark's WNBA games

0

Adam Lefkoe recently revealed a brilliant strategy for betting on Caitlin Clark’s WNBA games, and it’s actually pretty smart.

Lefkoe co-hosts a podcast with Shaquille O’Neal called The Big Podcast with Shaq. During a recent episode, Shaq was lamenting the gravity of Charles Barkley’s recent comments about WNBA players being petty towards Caitlin Clark.

O’Neal explains that one person may get all the “props,” but the WNBA’s success is not solely based on Caitlin. He goes on to list players like Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, and Kelsey Plum. that are being forgotten in the chatter.

That’s when Lefkoe jumps in to add additional players like Cameron Brink and A’ja Wilson, and as the conversation progresses, Lefkoe reveals that he actually uses Caitlin Clark’s games to help him bet. But Lefkoe does not bet on Caitlin. He actually bets on the players who play against her. This is what he shared with Shaq (See the 51:26 mark of the YouTube video below):

“I’m not betting against Caitlin Clark because there are times when she’ll drop 30. But every time she plays another star in the W, they go crazy. Jewell Loyd dropped 32. A’ja Wilson dropped 29 and 15 [rebounds].”

“I love Caitlin Clark because I’m getting to see everyone else take their game to a whole new [level] — because they know the ratings are higher. They wanna show out, too.”

We wanted to see if what Lefkoe was asserting was true. IT IS. Here’s a small sample of some of the stat lines that stars across the WNBA have dropped when playing against Caitlin Clark:

  • A’ja Wilson – 29 points and 15 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block
  • DeWanna Bonner – 20 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal
  • Breanna Stewart (2 games) – 31 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks | 24 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 blocks
  • Alyssa Thomas (2 games) – 13 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists , 3 steals | 7 points, 18 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals
  • Jewell Lloyd (2 games) – 32 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals | 22 points, 6 assists
  • Nneka Ogwumike (2 games) – 22 Points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists | 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
