Ballston Lake man charged for alleged burglaries
BALLSTON LAKE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- State police arrested a Ballston Lake man for allegedly burglarizing a Clifton Park business two times in June. Police said Shaun Sheriff, 32, was charged with two counts of burglary and more after stealing money from the business.

- Two counts of third-degree burglary
 - Fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
 - Possession of burglar tools
 
According to police, Sheriff is accused of stealing money from a closed business on Monday morning and items from the same business when it was closed on Wednesday morning. Police arrested him outside of the business on Thursday at 1:22 a.m.
While being taken into custody, police said they recovered the items stolen from the second burglary and a burglary tool on Sheriff. Sheriff was at the Clifton Park State Police barracks and issued a Clifton Park Town Court appearance ticket for June 20 before he was released.
