Police have launched an investigation into Som Distilleries and Breweries Ltd following findings by India's child rights agency that over 50 children, including 20 girls, were working at their distillery in Madhya Pradesh. A case under juvenile justice and bonded labour laws has been filed, with authorities taking steps to rescue the children. Som, known for brands like Hunter and Woodpecker beer, did not respond to requests for comment.
