Men's Baseball, Men's and Women's Softball and Baseball5 to feature in 2025 South East Asian Games
Men's Baseball, Men's and Women's Softball and Baseball5 are among the 40 disciplines in the XXXIII South East Asian (SEA) Games, scheduled for December 9 to 20, 2025, in Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkhla, Thailand.
The SEA Games is a biennial regional multi-sports event established in 1959 by six founding NOCs: Myanmar, Cambodia (then Kampuchea), Laos, Malaya (now Malaysia), Thailand and Vietnam.
Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam are the member National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the South East Asian Games Federation.
The first Games were in 1959 in Bangkok. At the time the event was named South East Asian Peninsular Games (SEAP Games).
Hosts the Philippines won the baseball and women’s softball tournaments in the previous SEA Games to feature baseball or softball in 2019. Singapore also stunned the Philippines to clinch the gold medal in men’s softball
