Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced on Monday that the NHAI will commence construction on the Rs 4,000-crore Chattergala tunnel project in Jammu and Kashmir promptly. Gadkari chaired a review meeting the same day, attended by Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Jitendra Singh.
