Double M hosting first-ever Mid-Summer Scream

MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Double M Haunted Hayrides is getting excited for Halloween by hosting its first-ever Mid-Summer Scream on July 26 and 27. This comes after Double M held its first-ever Halfway to Halloween event in May.

Mid-Summer Scream features a screening of "Scream" (1996) with "creatures" lurking among the crowd during the movie. Two Haunted Houses will also be open: "Shock" and "Last Christmas."

Attendees should bring their own chairs and blankets to sit on. The concessions stand will be open; no outside food or drink is allowed.

Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk. The Haunted Houses will open after the movie. The rain date will be July 28. Tickets are $30 and are available only on the Double M website.
