Our club taster sessions are for prospective riders and will give you a taste of what our Saturday morning sessions are like. They are free to attend, just bring your bike, helmet, drink and a snack. We cannot loan bikes for taster sessions.
Sessions are led by British Cycling qualified coaches and riders will undergo a safety briefing followed by a mix of fun activities to build their skills and confidence, they may even finish the session with a short race.
Please note that we require riders to be able to ride their bike confidently and safely by themselves and without stabilisers. Helmets are mandatory for all riders.

Taster session for ages 8-12 on Saturday 29th June, 0900-1030 – Riders should be aged 8 upwards but we do take riders who are 7 years old if it is the year of their 8th birthday, so if they are still 7 years old and can ride confidently, they will be very welcome.
Taster session ages 13+ on Saturday 20th July, 1030-1200 – Riders must be aged 13 or above and confident on the bike. Older riders who are less confident should book on the 29th June session where the coaches can assess your ability and help you decide which will be the most appropriate session for you. But if you are confident on the bike and reasonably fit then you’ll be fine attending on the 20th!
