When North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un visited Russia in September 2023, he invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to make a reciprocal visit. The Russian leader’s visit to the DPRK on June 18-19 will be followed by a state visit to Vietnam on June 19-20 at the invitation of Communist Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
