Schenectady man accused of having child sex abuse images
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man was arrested and is accused of possessing child sexual abuse images. Steven Iovinelli, 45, faces multiple charges.
According to New York State Police, an investigation stemmed from a cyber tip via the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Iovinelli is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
Charges:
- Promoting a sexual performance by a child
- Possessing a sexual performance by a child
Iovinelli was arrested at his Schenectady home and taken to Princetown State Police. He was processed and was taken to the Schenectady County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
