Euro 2024 stadium announcer forced to warn fans mid-game over ‘disgusting’ act in Serbia’s draw with Slovenia
FOOTBALL fans were warned against throwing objects onto the pitch during the Euro 2024 group stage match between Slovenia and Serbia.
In the latter stages of the match, fans at the Allianz Arena began throwing plastic cups at the pitch.
Serbia supporters appeared to aim the objects at Slovenia players following Zan Karnicnik’s opening goal.
The stadium announcer was forced to intervene in the final 10 minutes, warning those in attendance against throwing anything onto the pitch.
