Donald Sutherland death updates — President Snow actor dies at 88 as son Kiefer pays tribute to a ‘life well lived’

DONALD Sutherland has died at 88.

The actor was known for his role as President Snow in The Hunger Games, as well as for his performances in Ordinary People, The Undoing, and M*A*S*H.

His son, Kiefer Sutherland, has paid tribute to the star on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away,” the actor wrote.

“I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly.

“He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.”

Donald died in Miami today after a “long illness,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
