East Fishkill woman accused of stealing over $1M
EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An East Fishkill woman was arrested and is accused of stealing over $1M. Kirsten Zubini, 39, is charged with first-degree grand larceny.
On January 24, around 9 a.m., troopers received a tip from a Saratoga Springs organization regarding a theft. Police say an investigation found Zubini had fraudulently redirected funds that belonged to the organization to a bank account controlled by her in January.
Police say the theft resulted in over $1M. Zubini was arrested with the help of the Dutchess County Probation Department. She was arraigned at Malta Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail.
