Morning Live’s Gethin Jones issues update on show return after vanishing from screens along with two co-stars
MORNING Live’s Gethin Jones has issued an update regarding his future on the daytime.
Three of the usual hosts of the flagship magazine programme completely vanished from the show this week.
Gethin Jones has given fans an update on his BBC Morning Live future[/caption] The former Blue Peter star raised questions with viewers after his absence[/caption] He recently enjoyed several holidays abroad during down time earlier this month[/caption]Gethin, 46, has been absent from BBC Morning Live since Monday 17th June and viewers have since wondered why.
Usually the Salford based show is anchored by the former Blue Peter star as the hunk’s joined by the by either Helen Skelton or Michelle Ackerley on rotation.
However, it seems that the star is truly wanting to show a united front with his co-stars.
The TV personality took to his Instagram stories as he posted several snaps where he posed alongside Helen at the Millie’s Legacy charity event.
He also now revealed the reason why he has been taking a hiatus from fronting the rival to This Morning.
Gethin opted for an escape trip to Ireland where he wanted to explore his love of Rugby.
Wales Online report that he posted: “Awesome couple of days with @worldrugby in Dublin. Learned loads with a wonderful group of people!”
He also shared a snap with Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Janette Manrara, 40 as he revealed the date of his comeback.
The pair were both beaming after Gethin wrote: “Back with you on @bbcmorninglive tomorrow with this ledge!”
All three of the main Morning Live stars were nowhere to be seen this week, and it was only highlighted when BBC Breakfast crossed over for the teaser.
Instead of the usual faces it was Gaby Roslin and Rav Wilding who stood in as they told viewers what was coming up in the show on Wednesday.
It was initially unclear why Gethin didn’t appear but Michelle is taking down time following her wedding to Ben Ryan.
Meanwhile, Helen has been busy working on a new travel series with Dan Walker for Channel 5.
This was after the success of their previous outing, Dan and Helen’s Pennine Adventure as the duo explored the Pennines.
