Alanis Morissette’s Ultra-Rare Photo of Her Son Winter Shows How He’s a ‘Master’ at Makeup
Alanis Morissette just shared the sweetest update on her youngest child, her son Winter, including how much he already loves helping his mama do her makeup!
On June 19, Morisette shared a rare, touching photo of her youngest son Winter helping her apply her makeup perfectly. She shared the photo with the caption reading, “i like to do my own makeup for most of my tour. but sometimes, a master appears to show me how it’s done. ???????????????? #houston #texaslove ????.”
In the super-rare photo, we see Morisette sitting in the makeup chair, sitting perfectly still as her son Winder dabbles on some blush on his mom’s cheeks, like an absolute makeup pro! Only five years old, and already getting the hang of makeup?! He’s truly a makeup master in the making.
Many boy moms flooded her comment section, talking about how their sons love to help them put on makeup as well! One commented, “Awww ???? my boys also love helping me with my makeup,” and makeup artist Katie Nash added, “Oh to be in the hands of such a tiny (and cute) master!! ???? Does he need an assistant?? ????????♀️????”
For those who don’t know, Morissette and her husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway originally met back in 2009 through mutual friends. Almost immediately, they started dating, and by the next year, in May 2020, they got married in a private ceremony.
They share three children together: Ever Imre, born on Dec 25, 2010, Onyx Solace, born on June 23, 2016, and Winter Mercy, born on Aug 8, 2019.
In a previous interview with The Today Show, she discussed how she felt after welcoming three children. Now, Morisette has been open about her postpartum depression and is trying to break the stigma surrounding talking about it. She said, “[There were] 13-ish years of some version of a roller coaster, hormonally, emotionally, socially. I do feel like I’m on the other side of it, and I can’t tell you how happy I am about that.”
