Giants put OF Mike Yastrzemski on IL, recall Luis Matos

The San Francisco Giants put outfielder Mike Yastrzemski on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left oblique strain.

The move was retroactive to Friday. He exited Thursday's 6-5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals at historic Rickwood Field in the fourth inning and was seen leaving the field with a trainer.

Outfielder Luis Matos was recalled in a corresponding move.
