Kendall Jenner loves to use a ‘thick’ $7 face oil and a $14 spray for a ‘nice glide’ when she gua shas in every morning
EVER wondered how Kendall Jenner achieves her bone structure? Part of it is hard work.
The Kardashian-Jenner sister revealed in a recent Vogue video that she starts off her morning skincare routine with gua sha.
Gua sha, a traditional Chinese medicine technique, involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to relieve hypertension and improve circulation.
Kendall explained that she tries to keep the beauty routine consistent, though she’s not always successful.
To start, she poured a few drops of 100% virgin coconut oil into her palms and rubbed it into her skin as a lubricant.
She uses SheaMoisture Overnight 100% Virgin Coconut Oil, which costs $7.13 on Amazon.
“I love it because it’s thick, and the gua sha just slides,” she said to Vogue.
Kendall chooses to do her gua sha routine first thing in the morning, followed by a cleanser, to fully get rid of the oils on her face.
She explained that she learned the technique from a woman online.
“She said, ‘Do this before you wash your face, so that’s why I do it,'” she explained.
After applying the oil, Kendall spritzed her face with rose water to further dampen and prep her skin.
Once again, she opted for a budget-friendly buy, Heritage Store Rosewater Refreshing Facial Mist, which retails for $13.69 on Amazon.
As she applied the products, she rested her gua sha tool in a cup of ice to get it “nice and cold.”
Once her skin was ready, Kendall rested the stainless steel device against the back of her eyelids and then dragged it under her under-eyes.
Next, she dragged the edges of the tool against her jawline, bringing the tool down her neck once she reached her earlobes to encourage lymphatic drainage.
To finish off her routine, she used the tool on her forehead, dragging it upward from her brow to her temple.
“I’m probably being nit-picky, but I feel like my brows can get really uneven,” she said.
“It’s probably not traditional, but I go really up on this one because I feel like it needs a little lift; it kind of falls into my eye.”

Once her routine is complete, she cleanses her face to remove all the oil and impurities.
Amazon shoppers raved about the inexpensive coconut oil Kendall used.
“Adding this product to my skincare routine has been a game changer!” said one reviewer.
“I used it a while ago and then took a break from it for no specific reason. Now that I have it back in my routine, I can totally see the difference.

“Tip: a little goes a long way! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to strengthen their skin barrier and wake up feeling refreshed!”
Fans also sang their praises for her go-to rosewater.
“I traveled with it to India, and it was a lifesaver in 110-plus-degree weather,” wrote one reviewer.
“You spray on your face, and the body immediately calms down. Highly recommended to use daily during summer weather. Smells fantastic!”
