A SINGLE father has shared how he feeds his family for just £2.35, leaving many open-mouthed.
The self-proclaimed “poor AF” dad, from London, who claimed to be ‘struggling’ as a result of the cost of living crisis, revealed how he makes food for his kids without having to break the bank.

The dad posted his clip online with the caption ‘Feeding my children on a low budget.’
He then added: “Feeding my kids on a £2.35 budget as a poor af single father.”
At the start of the short, very well edited video, the father revealed that he had just £2.35 to spend, as he gave his followers a close-up look at his pennies and 5p coins.
The father then headed to Asda to get his groceries – where he bagged a tin of chilli con carne, which cost him just £1.85 from the chain’s Just Essentials range.
He then got his hands on a bag of long grain micro rice, which was just 50p – costing him £2.25 in total.
Upon arriving home, the father started cooking his children’s dinner.
He added the tinned chilli to a saucepan, seasoned with salt and then added a generous knob of butter.
He put the rice in the microwave and minutes later, dished up the quick and easy meal – a portion of chilli con carne, some rice, as well as two plain crackers.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @tok_savings, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly amassed a jaw-dropping 298,900 views.

But social media users were left divided – whilst some thought the dinner looked “great”, not everyone was as complimentary.
One person said: “This looks so good.”
Another added: “Looks banging mate.”

Whilst one user claimed: “Basically your kids are getting prison food.”

Meanwhile, others were eager to advise the man to clean his home.
