A drone launched by Yemen's Houthi rebels damaged a vessel in the Red Sea, the latest in a series of attacks targeting shipping in the region. The attack occurred off the coast of Hodeida, damaging a bulk carrier. The UK Maritime Trade Operations center reported the mariners on board were safe. The Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack, contradicting reports that it was carried out with a drone boat. The US military confirmed the attack on the vessel, which was en route to Egypt from Malaysia.
